Prepping a Jig

Featured Replies

Just trim the skirt and throw a trailer on the back.

God Bless

No prep necessary for me. Add trailer of choice and go.

I have switched to using Siebert Outdoors as well. I haven't purchased a lot from Mike but I still have plenty of my old stock to lose first. I did fall in love with this one from Mike because the fish couldn't resist it this past year. And its still almost like new.

Bluegill color.

I love this thread, and bumping it up to see if anyone did anything new.

I trim the skirt to the hook bend and thats about it.  I make my own from start to finish, so there isn't a lot to change.  I do tie my skirts differently so there isn't anything to cut or trim, which gives off maximum flair.
