Sanshouo ? Anybody tried these yet ?!?  Also the zako swimbait ?? Thoughts?

Haven't seen them in stores yet but the zako looks like it'll have the same action as a Lake Fork Live Magic Shad.  Will definitely check them out once they start showing up in the retail stores.

I don't believe the Zako is a swimbait so much as it is a trailer. Doesn't seem like it would have much action as a stand alone.

The other is kind of a beaver of sorts. I'm sure it'll work, and I'm sure it will be fragile. Kind of depends on if the productivity you get with the added action of a soft bait is worth the money to the buyer.

I bought a few packs of the Zako at BF from TW and I will be using them as trailers, not a stand alone bait.  They are pricey (as with most GYCB) but cheaper than the Lake Forks I've been using.  So we shall see.  I also use plain old flukes as trailers for my chatterbaits and do just fine with them.  I'm interested in seeing how they preform (action wise) on a swimjig.

The beaver I will not give a chance on, I LOVE the Flappin Hogs, but they are again, just way to pricey for me.  I will always have a pack or two with me as they are a confidence bait, but there are other, cheaper, options that work as well.

I actually just ordered some Zakos and like others here I plan on using them as trailers for bladed jigs and spinnerbaits. I'm hoping that profile mixed with the action from the tail will produce, it looks like a good bait from what I've seen.

Threw one one on the back of a bladed jig and threw it into the pool great action, haven't got to use it out on the water yet

God Bless
