looked through my window and it's clear blue skies, sunny and feels warm

 

120 days away for what ? 

9" of snow on the ground here. Low of 11 tonight. Not even going to bother trying to fish for a bit. Going to work on some lures I started instead. 

LOL,...6 inches? I got about 16,and my snowblowers gearbox is slipping, (hope its just an adjustment) its been flawless for almost 40 years now. Good thing we got kids and shovels,.lol,..

 Spring will be here soon and the snows will melt, I too, wish it could be tomorrow instead of waiting.

It was 4 Friday night. Tuesday....mid 40's and rain. Gotta love Michigan!

Been real cold here lately, making some serious ice.  Open water is a long ways off yet....

8" in my yard....-1-0 degrees last night.  No fishing...no exploring new locations...and gotta drive to work in the black ice tonight. ugggggggg

That's nothing. Friday and Saturday nights we were right at or a little below zero. Tomorrows weather: High of 62 and sunny.

It is 4:04AM on Monday, January 9, 2017 and at my home in Richmond, Virginia we had 10-inches of snow on Saturday and right now the outside temperature is 6*

 

Good news is that in around 40 days college baseball will start.

It's been 15 here in Guntersville the last 3 nights. But it's supposed to be 69 by Friday. If you don't like the weather in north Alabama, just wait 10 minutes. It'll change. 

Buddy went out fishing during the cold snap. Pic is how his rod looked when he got back. 

There were a couple boats off the 69 causeway trying for crappie this morning. 

I got to do a little work on the Triton. And I'm probably going to deer hunt until season goes out Feb 10 then try to fish on the warmer days. 

Hoping for an early spring...
