I have a Duckett Ghost and the tip guide has been cut my the line I only use mono and it still cuts the insert the insert is made out of stainless steel and nothing else. I emailed the company and they sent me a few tip replacements. Should I put the tips they sent me and may have to replace again later or should I find a different replacement tip and use that.

A ceramic ringed guide will last longer, but since you have the replacements, no harm in using them until they groove.  Don't use epoxy to replace them as it will be hard to remove later. Use rodbuilding "ferrule cement" or other high temp hot melt.  Do not overheat the blank in removing what's on there now.  Tie a rubber band through the ring, apply tension as you heat, and unless it was attached with epoxy it will slide off in a few seconds.  If it takes more than a few seconds, it's epoxy, and further heat may damage the blank.  If you find that, come on  back and solicit advice from the experts who have handled this before.

A quality ceramic ringed tip top is only $3-$5. As suggested using the SS ones in the meantime is fine. 

If you like the rod enough, it might be worthwhile to go find a custom rod builder in your area. I have a friend that likes the Abu Garcia rods but has trouble with their guides periodically.  What he does is get our friend to strip off all of the factory guides and install a much better set of his choosing.  It is a little pricey, but he gets a blank he really likes with a new set of upper end guides. He no longer worries about having the insert breaking out or damaging his expensive line.  Often times you cab ask at the local tackle shop and they will know a local rod repair guy, sometimes he works right there in the shop.

Guides are fairly cheep. Labor to put them on is not
