Need help determing size of split rings for various lures such as Zara Spooks, crank baits, etc? Is there an overall size that would work for most lures say from 1/8 to 3/4 oz.? Thanks guys.

 

 

 

#2 works well for a lot of normal sized bass baits. 

The most important thing is to get quality split rings like those offered from Spro.

i use #3 Owner Hyper rings.

If a bait's hardware is substandard, I change it with Owner Hyperwire Split rings

 For the line tie, I like Owner Oval OR Tear Drop Split Ring ~ Size 2 or 3

Size #2 for most baits and oval split rings are for line ties only.

Size 2 and 3 owner hyper wires are what I use

"Ditto" here on the Hyper Wires: I keep 2s, 3s and 4s on hand at all times. Depending upon your lure selection, 2s and 3s will likely get the majority of use.
