I saw a new swim bait that looked kinda cool on instagram. Its shwanger baits shad swim bait, looks kinda like a bull shad but is only $19.99. Any one ever tried these?

There are tons of bull shad imitations, most swims in a very curvy s action. I dont know about that one, but if you are so interested, try it.

I haven't but the problem with most of those cheap knockoff jointed swimbaits is the joints are weak and or don't allow the bait to move like it should. Bull Shads aren't that expensive and they're built like tanks. Can't count how many times I've bounced mine off the rocks and you can't even see a mark from it.

$50 is very reasonable for a good swimbait, if your not willing to dump $50+ on one bait then the swimbait game is not for you. I'd rather have one $50 bait that slays them, then 10-$5 baits that don't.

I agree, I'm not a big swim bait fisherman but if I was I'm aware of the difference between a good swim bait and a cheap knockoff.

Agreed, but if you buy the $20 knockoff and it falls apart, then the $50 doesn't seem so bad.

Like I stated above I am aware of the difference between a knockoff and a good swim bait. I was just saying that 50 bucks is a pretty penny im sure if I was into swim baits I would be spending big money on baits I'm not a big swim fan yet but not because I don't want to be but just because I haven't really got into it. And i dont have the gear for it to be honest.

It is a dedication. Once your in, it is great tho, but it's not cheap as you know.

This whole bass fishing gig is not cheap but it's a dedication once your in as you and I both know.

Its all relative but conventional bass fishing is peanuts compared to swim bait fishing...baits are $50-$500, and once you start your gonna need them all.

id not waste my time with the chinese baits with joints like that.  There are multiple brands like that.  Raw is one of them.  1 Bullshad will last and catch more than 3 of those $20 baits.
