Trim Suddenly Not Working on Motor

Featured Replies

I just bought a new boat, and the trim was working just fine on the motor. Anyway, we had a couple of really cold nights, and now the trim isn't working. I can hear it faintly when I press up or down, but it's not moving the motor at all or working. I had the motor covered with the boat cover while it was cold. So could anyone tell me what's going on?

Checked your battery to be good ?

I'll check it again. I am just wondering if it was the cold weather.

Sounds more like a hydraulic issue than an electrical issue, but please keep us abreast.

Was just a loose connection since I was recharging the batteries. Trim works fine now. I'm relieved.

Love happy endings :P
