I need a all purpose rod to pair with pfueger president 6935 spinning real.

Under $80

by all purpose I mean that would be good for most types of bass fishing.

Either a 6' 6" or 7' M/F would be my choice. What brand is whatever fits your personal preference. I have that same reel on a few different rods. 

Powell Diesel 6'10 medium. This is my go to spinning rod. It handles everything I throw at it and I snap rod tips like snap peas.  It's on sale at TW right now. They don't offer a warranty on this rod and ironically it's my longest lasting spinning rod.  I also use pflueger reels. I don't recommend any other Powell rods but they hit the nail on the with with this one.  I hope they never stop making it.

I reccomend the veritas. I've heard good things about them.

6'6" medium/fast Fenwick Eagle rod for $60. Best all around rod I own.

 

Fenwick and Pflueger go together like peanut butter and jelly.
