I've been seeing ads on facebook for a couple different sites that sell "97% pure" tungsten for about half the cost of retail. What i want to know is if anyone here has pulled the trigger on any of these and if they're as good as the brand names? I love fishing tungsten but i hate buying it. thanks in advance!

if you are talking about omfishingsinkers, they are as good as any tungsten you'l find on the market. Iv ordered from them many times, and I use their flipping jigs a lot

 That's exactly what i was talking about. It's good to hear someone's input on it before spending 40 bucks. How are the hooks on those jigs? If i got them i'd make skirts and maybe powder paint them.

yes, pretty sharp out of the package. delivery takes 2-3 weeks for me. You also dont need to order $40 at a time. even if you only order a few items, the shipping is $2-3.

well of course, but i like to stock up when i order tackle!

I think they use 3X mustad hooks

I believe China is where most tungsten comes from anyways, which is probably why it's cheaper to buy from them and miss out on the mark ups. I've ordered from them and had good experiences but never bought any jigs.

Ditto - I have bought from these guys a few times and the quality was excellent. Shipping is a little slow since it is coming from China, but I suppose that's to be expected.

I gotta check that out ...I am in need for more weights and this might solve my problem  

yep i use omfishingsinkers too. only place ill buy from anymore. cheap prices and excellent quality. and it only took about 2 weeks to be delivered. quick google search of omfishingsinkers will bring you to the page

I have ordered from omfishingsinkers as well. Their tungsten appears to be of quality and I really wanted to try out tungsten drop shot weights. They are pretty d**n cheap if you ask me. I stocked up on some other worm weights as well and got some insert weights. Shipping only took 9-10 days and surprisingly the package came from NY.

+1 to omfishing for drop shot weights.  Would buy again.

I've had good luck with cheap ice-fishing tungsten jigs and bass-fishing weights from eBay, for what it's worth. They're no different than the rebadged products costing 2-4x as much. 

I just placed an order today with them. This is my first order. They state 9-11 days for delivery....I sure hope it doesn't take 3 weeks.

Never a bad experience with omfishingsinkers

Wow, those are good prices, I bought some cylinder drop shot weights from a tackle shop for $8! I can buy from them for $2.50!!! 

If you don't see what you are looking for on their website,  message them.  They've got lots of unadvertised stuff.

I visited their website on my phone and it wouldn't let me put anything in the cart....not sure what I was doing wrong. Anyone else have any problems? I sure like their prices and would like to order from them.
