How about the reel monkey

Featured Replies

I guess I am hooked on BCs and threw a open face in just incase.

I guess the best way to find out what you want is try them. I will keep what I like and  sell the rest , by the way the Kastking Stealth is a solid reel for the money , I may even keep it

The assassin may or may not be as good, I do not like the internal brakes at first look.

Ok, you'll keep what you like and sell the rest, I'll save you the trouble, you can start by keeping those Shimanos, if those other two were something like Daiwa ....

You might be hooked, but you are only getting started.  Expect your collection to grow exponentially if you aren't careful.  :teeth:

I got hooked in 2009.  I have tried reels from several companies.  Never know when you might come across an exceptional reel that gets overlooked by most.  I am a big fan of the Helios Air and Primmus Xi HS reels.  You almost never see either mentioned.

Of course there will be models no longer produced that you simply have to have.  Which is why I now have Curado Es, TD-Z 105Hs, Black Max 1600Cs, Airy Red Pixy, gold colored Carbonlites, Purple Alphas, etc., etc.

I have to say you are lucky if you don't mind selling some off.  I have a hard time letting one go once in hand.  I don't buy any unless they either get excellent reviews or there is something about the reel that peeks my interest.  So why would I want to sell one?

I have the same problem a lot of women have.  If it is a bargain, I have a hard time passing it up even though I don't need it. :wall3:

Since when need has to do with bargains ? :dontknow:

Just because I didn't have more money I was able to purchase only 4 TDZs when they were on clearance at Cabela's.

The Stealth is an awesome reel.  I don't have an Assassin yet, but I am looking at getting one soon. The Speed Demon is another great reel, if you're looking for something high speed. Like everyone else, I've been through several companies.  It's all in what fits you best and what you have the most confidence in, I think.
