Yesterday on lunch went to local fishing pier to play around with new reel, I had my tackle box in Jeep but just took small plano box with all my spinner/buzz baits with me along with rod. Left tackle box in jeep.

 

Got to pier, made about 5 casts and started talking to some guy who was there. We spoke about 20 minutes and then I needed to get back to work. I picked up rod and left and didn't realize until 9 at night I left plano box on pier. Went back today and its gone.

 

On the negative side I need to replace about $100 in lures, on the positive side I get to go shopping...... 

On the positive side you seriously made someone's day. Someone said "I found a plano box with $100 worth of spinner and buzz baits, it's my lucky day!" For reals though I feel for ya. 

OUCH!

 

We've all had our turn in the barrel, at least you have the right attitude 

 

wow that really stinks. hopefully its an honest person and turns it in to the sheriffs department or  puts ad in local paper. wishing you a better year.

You have a great attitude...maybe....just maybe the guy you were talking to will have seen it and have it for you when you fish the pier again.  I might try and be there on the same day and time as when you lost it.

Well if they werent Cavitrons or Megastrikes spinnerbaits they are probably still there-or kicked in the river- If they were someone made out like a bandit-  LOL Ok keep your shirts on people-- Ive heard of guys losing tackle or getting it stolen-if you need anything just jive a holla  -we can help out a fellow BR member 

Great time to take up lure making.  Spinnerbaits and buzzbaits are among the easiest to master and customize.  I don't pour my own but there are many lure bodies available both painted and unpainted.  Good luck!

Thanks all for support...this will one day make good fishing story.......I have to admit if I found the box, I would have brought to the little marina next store and asked to put in lost and found.

Hopefully a young person of lesser means them and now gets to smile a lot more due to the gift!
