Some people say you can't teach an ol dog new tricks but you did Glenn.  I read and watched your video on fishing plastics when it first came out and thought ....dang....I've been loosing some key fish...especially this last Saturday...it was horrible.  Lost almost a limit before I started landing some in a club tourney.  So .... anyway I went to store and bought some weight stoppers, (couldn't find mine)  some heavy hooks and some of those strike king baits you were using.  Well....end of story...my son and I won the Tuesday nighter and I didn't loose a fish.  Now I know it will happen but what a 180.....thank you.

P.S.  You can post this if you want but I just wanted to personally thank you much.

THIS is why I do what I do. I'm happy to help, and love to see results. Glad I can provide value to you!

Thanks, great stuff.  Question:  how do you know when the worm hits the bottom?  Are you keeping a tight line as it falls?

Thanks Glenn, I'm never sure when to peg a weight or not. I was always pegging then I saw Hank Parker say he never pegs so I don't peg anymore. I catch fish both ways but am wondering if one way is better then another.

You will know when your worm hits the bottom when the line "slacks" out. I almost always have the reel in gear when after a cast as soon as the worm hits the water.

I usually peg my weights in heavy vegetation.
