Fathers Day PB Largemouth for Dad

Let me preface this by saying my dad is not a bass fisherman and he wanted to make sure I mention he caught it on a minnow and does not need thousands of dollars worth of tackle to play with the big boys.B)

Went out looking for crappie and bluegills on my favorite panfish lake this morning. Caught a mess of small bass, gills and perch in 14fow and 2fow on the inside and outside weed edges. About 9am dad says I got a big fish on. Caught on a minnow in 16fow. Pic doesn't do the fish justice. My guesstimate 4.5lbs

That's really awesome not only to get a PB but to spend that time with your dad.

My weekend was hectic with little league so I was only able to talk to my dad over the phone. This coming weekend I'll spend some time with him.

Congrats @slonezp. Great way to spend time with dad.

Great way to spend Father's Day.  Congrats on your Dad's PB, and kudos for having an outing with him.
