What knot for spinnerbait?

By slippage do you mean the knot failing? In my case it's the knot itself sliding down the arm of the spinnerbait. Is this normal, and could I tie something where the wire bends to prevent it?

No knot failure.  My knots don't slip down the wire.  I HAVE had it happen(very rare), but a new knot always remedies it.

Here's my guess....lots of us using different knots are not having this issue so maybe you need to get your knot tighter.  Beyond that, I don't know what to tell you.

I've recently been fishing spinnerbaits on straight braid, and was wondering what's the best knot to tie. An improved clinch knot slips on the arm and causes a tangled mess and a palomar is difficult to tie on larger lures. I know there are a bunch of knots I could look into but i want to know what you guys think

See picture and notice the little piece of plastic that is slid over the bend. This will keep the line from sliding on the wire. This particular brand(Secret Weapon) came with the piece but you can make your own out of heat shrink tubing or small fuel tubing from hobby shop or tiny rubber band.

As far as knot the Fish-n-Fool knot is like the uni knot just wrap around wire twice instead of once like the uni. The FnF knot is also proven stronger than the palomar knot and uses less line to tie.

I really like that approach too.  As I mentioned above, I wind up using a wire leader on my spinner baits most of the time...which means I have to avoid baits that don't have a twist to stop the snap from sliding down the wire.

This'll make that a non-issue.
