Miamisburg Ohio here....

Featured Replies

Hello. I love in Miamisburg Ohio which is just south of Dayton. I grew up fishing. As often as I could. Then I kind of got away from it for several years. I would go here and there. But not nearly enough. We moved to Miamisburg last year. There is a pond right behind our house. My neighbor said we can go back there and fish whenever we want. So I am BACK in the game. My 3 year old twin boys have caught their first fish, bluegill as big as my hand, I've seen carp at least 2 feet long rolling around and the largemouth are numerous. I have been killing 2 to 3 lbs largemouth whenever I can sneak away for 20 to 30 minutes. Well 2 to 3 fish each time. But that's good enough for me. So I am new here. Just saying hi. I'm excited that I have found this site!!

Greetings and Welcome to the forums :)

Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~

A-Jay

Welcome aboard! I was born in the Dayton area, grew up fishing the Mad River, the Great Miami, and some ponds up there.

Thanks!! I haven't done any real bass fishing for years. Any fishing I've done over the last 10 years or so has been catfish or panfish. I'm definitely looking for more spots.
