Greetings From Altamonte Springs, FL!

Greetings All!

My name is Keriana and freshwater fishing is relatively new to me. I'm originally from Queens, NY and most of my fishing was done in saltwater from either a pier or party boat, for either fluke or flounder. I've been in FL for almost 13 years now and the most fishing I've done was pier fishing in Daytona (with no luck). I had my rod shipped down to me however the reel is quite old and it looks as if its only good for freshwater at the present. I'm excited to explore this new world of freshwater fishing for fun, and make some friends to fish with as well, as my husband does not like outdoorsy things in FL due to the heat. Thanks for reading and I look forward to meeting new people :)

Welcome to the forums.

If you want to do some saltwater pier fishing there's Sebastian Inlet. It's a 2 1/2 hour drive but worth it. For freshwater fishing, It's Florida, you can find bass in puddles.

Id totally go if I had people to go with and planned on spending a whole day to hopefully bring home some dinner lol
