That's a classic.

Right gear & determination got the job done.

That was great! Until now I thought getting bass out of dense pennywort and hyacinth mats was difficult.

"Well now what?" ------classic response

Now that's what I call love! Not only was it the things we do to catch a bass, it was the things y'all did to help your wife boat the bass. Excellent teamwork. That's some extraordinary line as well. Amazing it didn't get nicked up or anything. Great job you two!

Yep, memories....LOL

Glenn, Great effort and patience getting that fish out of all that mess.  Now throw into the equation, about 50 gators, a few cotton mouths, and the occasional 15 foot python.  If my 65 pound braid cant get the job done, then I'm leaving that dam bass!!!!!:laugh5: Lol

I have a not-so-good memory of jumping out of my kayak in chest deep water and sticking my whole arm into a brush pile to the point that I had my hands on the 4lber, who then surged and broke me off.

It still is. And I have a pool cue for a frog rod.

When Hurricane Hugo hit here I lived at Lake Wateree with my parents. The lake level went up about 8 feet for a week or so. My dad was sitting up the steps to the dock, which was way underwater and hooked a bass. It went under the dock steps and got him hung up. I came to the rescue by putting on my swimsuit and going diving for the chunky little bass.
