Given the ridiculous price of glide baits, I'm looking for some DIY advice.   Does anyone have a good source for 2 piece,jointed plastic bodies 7 to 8 inches?  Ive seen some at LPO but don't really see any that catch my eye.
Also, any tips for painting jointed bodies?  Separate or paint as one bait?  Thank You!

    I can tie flies, but I lack the talent and the patience to paint lures.

     

    Those flies take about 10 minutes each...

    Have you tried fishing with lipless crankbaits?  In Mo. the muskie seem to like them.

    Consider the Believer. They make an 8" jointed model that I know works wonders on pike.
