Duo Spinbait

Kvd catches like 3 bass on one and now they are sold out on TW....

Id say 95% of those spinbaits will sit in their owners box after the first outing.  I have them and use them but they are extremely situational and usually prefer a tiny swimjig or hairjig over them

So true about them sitting in the owners tackle box. The are situational baits. But that will not stop the masses from buying them. I'll pass on it. I got enough baits I don't use.  Even after I sold off 1/10th of what I own. I gotta stop buying lures.

The Arishi Spinbait saved me on a recent trip. It was a tough bite and once I started whacking the on that thing it flipped my attitude around. I do see how they can be a situational bait, but man in the right situation these things are great baits. It is a bait I will be using more in the future.

Maybe there will be a lot for sale a year from now when they realize they haven't used them.

Mine were situational, then I just started throwing them out and using different retrieves rather than the "correct" one. I have a lot of luck in the summer months retrieving them just subsurface. Seems to do well.

KVD + catching monster bass = monster sales.  The winning lure could have been a chicken McNugget they would have been sold out on TW ;)

Such is the fishing market. Everyone gets their slice of the pie every once and a while.

In about 24hours they sold out at TW...   Somewhere a hermit that was planning his retirement based on Teckel Frogs is screaming NOOOOOOOOOO!

I agree they are very situational.  Take them out 10 times and only once will you get anything to write home about.  A Keitech is 8 out of 10, a Senko/Ika 9 out of 10.  Too many other baits will catch fish more consistently than a spybait...  And I really wanted to like them.

This gets my vote for post of the month.  :roflmao1:

Are they selling for a ridiculous price yet?

No offense intended here but why were you on TW looking at them after watching KVD use one? Lol

Im not afraid to admit I've made a few purchased based on lures seen on fishing shows

Aren't all baits "situational"?

3 out of 20 bass caught on a spinbait. The other 17 were on a KVD jerkbait and Dream Shot. Plenty of those left in stock.

I'm a big duo realis fan and I wanted to see how quickly the spinbait was selling out based on 3 fish.

Duo is posting all sorts of social media content on the spinbait...videos...how to's etc...for three fish (THREE!) they have made an incredible profit.

And no ebay isnt over run yet.  In fact someone had three 90 sizes selling for 30 dollars which is a steal...considered buying them.

But this is why I respect KVD....he will use any product that will catch a fish.  From owner to duo....so you know his strike king lures he helped design and uses every tournament are quality.

I am just glad that the elites don't fish in the fall, as these are on my Black Friday wish list. After doing well with the Arishi version last month, I wanted to pick up a few Duos, Lucky Crafts, and Jackalls to work with next year.
