Terrova IPilot problems

Featured Replies

Has anyone else had difficulty with this product? Mine is freezing up and get stuck on the speed of 8 and won't turn right or left. Once it did that and would only go in circles. It looks like I'm gonna have to remove the trolling motor, take it in for service. It is only six months old. From what I see online, it seems like this is a recurring problem.

I've got Terrovas on 2 different boats and haven't had a problem with either of them.

I had a 2010 Terrova and never had any problems with it. Besides the spotlock being crappy but that was before I learned that it's area was like 15' feet, which makes sense. The newer ones are much better.

It doesn't really matter if I've got a new Terrova that is working just fine... if yours is broken, you need to get it to a service center.

I think he was asking if anyone else had this problem and if it was a common issue. So far doesn't seem to be.

Ran two different Terrovas on 4 different boats without any issues that were not user induced.

My old one s now on a friend's bass boat, still plugging away.

...but both were pre-2017 models for whatever that is worth.

I ordered one of the Cable Savr's for Terrova motors. I will keep everyone posted on how it works out.
