Found this on FB. Good deal?

Featured Replies

Was browsing FB and found these together. He wants $400 for both of them. Good deal?

1st Abu Garcia revo sx on a Abu Garcia Ike rod. Medium action. 7.1:1 gear ratio 65 lb braid. Rod and reel are in perfect condition.

2nd is a lews speed spool on a Mach speed stick. Medium/heave action 7.5:1 gear ratio. Rod and reel are in perfect condition.

I would pass. You could find them new with a warranty for that price, maybe even less.

Seems pricey to me!

Pass it for two reason

1) Too Much Money

2) I would not trust anything on facebook :)

Exactly!

Post here and see what you can get with $400, I would be willing to bet you can get better stuff for less money here on the forum.

Overpriced for sure.   Abu Garcia has been clearancing those reels for a while now.   Those Lews models are not very expensive.  You can find way better deals looking around and get new stuff to boot.   Good luck!

way overpriced......even if they were in perfect condition.pass on it. look around on this forum you'll find something.be patient.

Definitely pass. I could probably set you up with 2 better combos, for less money.

Many stolen rods and reels are sold on FB and eBay to avoid pawn shops. Someone selling something used at near new prices raises questions to me!!

What others have said, you could buy these new for around the same price, so I would pass alone for that reason and not even factoring in that they could be stolen (and could be scouting you out to rob you for all you know).

Revo Sx $120

Ike Rod $150

Speed spool (What Model) $120 give or take

Mach rod $80

All of it brand new is $470. just to show you price breakdown. Definitely pass for that price.
