Hello fellow anglers! Found this site a day ago was reading through the forums and was amazed at all the great information share so I figured I wanted to be a part of this. I've been fishing most my life. Started in Oklahoma, joined the Army, stopped fishing for awhile. Left the Army after 13yrs and jumped over to the "blue side" and joined the Navy which put me in Virginia. I mainly fish a local spot on the Northwest River.

Bass fishing is where my interests is, although I'm not that great at it yet. But occasionally, since my wife and daughter prefer to put a line in the water and wait.....we will do some bottom fishing for catfish.

Looking forward to learning more about bass fishing on here and becoming better using the knowledge of my fellow anglers.

Welcome aboard.

We have many Virginia gals and guys in the Forum so ask your questions and we will do all possible to offer our input.

Please pick up your free copy of the 2017 Freshwater Fishing in Virginia booklet from DG&IF at the Hampton BPS or a Dick's outlet. Good information for you to use to branch out to fish other places.

And don't forget the 10% Bass Pro Shops discount for our military.

Thanks again for your service.
