My Bass boat...

Featured Replies

LOL! ;D Well, not exactly. I've had it about 1 yr now. I was looking for a Bass boat but could not resist the deal I got on this boat! It's a great boat to fish out of. Very stable and it runs great. It's also very easy to clean up. I paid $5,500 cash for it! It's a Release 20' (19.7 actually) with a Yamaha Vmax 150.

Anyone else here Bass fishing out of a flats boat?

$5500?!  That is an INSANE deal.  Good looking boat and I am sure that is easy to clean.

Nice boat and a great deal I wouldn't have passed it up it was a steal at $5,500.

Our resident guide, George Welcome, fishes out of a flats.  Of course he's using it for dual purposes down in FL.

Great stable fishing platforms. Good deal!

Thats a great lookin rig!!  There's a couple people in my club that fish out of center consoles!

I've been looking for a 17 or 18ft Predator for a long time...I don't think anyone makes them anymore.  The Predators are like your rig.  They had good front and rear flipping decks, great storage, and were sharp looking boats.  I'm going to settle for either a Ranger, Skeeter, or Triton 17 footer with a 115 :D

Thanks guys. I love the set up of this boat. I forgot to add that it has a Bob's hydraulic flats jack and a 4 blade SS prop. I know those 2 items alone are probably another $1K alone or at least close. I do a little Snook and Red fishing from time to time, but I'm 99.9% Bass all the way! I remember guys telling me "once you hook a Snook... you'll never go back to Bass fishing". Well, when I finally went Snook fishing for the first time... it was a lot of fun, but on the trip back, I remember passing by a old phosphate pit and thinking... "Man, I wish I could get in there!" I guess Bass fishing is just in my blood!  :D
