TRAILER BUNKS

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a trailer with typical bunks.  My question is should the bunks be stationary, or should they be able to move a little to self adjust their angle?

One of my bunks won't move, the other moves a little.

It seems to me they should be able move a little to find the right angle to fit the hull.

thanks

That's a big no

The angler should be set to the contour of the boats hull  :D

use a 2x4 with some type of padding and jack the boat up engough to move the board in place. Replace nuts and bolts. Drop boat down and check then redue until you got it right.  Use lots of muscle and tighen the new bolt and nut. Oh cold spray with Galvanize after job is complete. the final thing is  crack cold beer with bros for all the hard work
