Trying to get my fishing-obsessed employee a birthday gift

I think the consensus is clear. Tackle warehouse is a good choice. I would also throw out ones I've used. Academy Sports, Cabela's and BPS. Academy has free shipping on most orders over $20. I also order a good bit of stuff off Amazon. They don't yet have EVERYTHING fishing related, but I can usually find something I need and if he has Prime, shipping is free for 2-day delivery. If you really want to be thoughtful you can ask his significant other what he really wants and buy it.

Get them a nice gift card for where they shop.  Let them get what they want, when they need it.  Also makes it easy for you.  I tell my kids all the time, I really appreciate gift cards.  They love it, and I love it.

Can I come work for you?

I would much rather have a giftcard. Reels are personal and individual to the person.

gear is too personal to pick for someone. tackle warehouse gift card is the win. competitive prices and they have almost everything.

he will say "how the fk did you know?"
