Mysterious Emails from Bass Resource

Featured Replies

To the Powers That Be:

Didn't want to start a thread since I'm not certain whether your end or my end has an issue, but every time I log in to the Bass Resource site, I receive an e-mail from you folks stating that I've just logged in from a device your site doesn't recognize. The message is innocuous, but a nuisance because I log in several times a day from either an iPod or iPad.  These emails are being treated as spam by my email server.

I attempted to use a PM to raise this question since I'm not sure it requires a thread; however, that was unsuccessful.

Would appreciate some advice/assistance in making this issue go away.  Thanks in advance!

I've had it happen a few times while using my phone. It happened the 1st time after the update and then has happened a few more times only after I've cleared the cache in my web browser.

No biggie, I just assumed it was an added level of security from the latest website update.

It happens every time I log out. I only use my phone and I’ll clear it out a couple times a week and it logs me off everything. It’s just a simple email saying someone logged in.

Yup, that's all it is.  Whenever you log in from a different device from the previous session, or clear out your browser before logging back in, you'll see this.  It's a means of letting you know of a log in, in case there's an unauthorized use of your account.

@Glenn: Thanx!  Works for me. Although I am a little disappointed that all those messages weren't announcements that I'd won something.  I'm just glad you're taking care of me much better than Equifax! ?
