I purchased two Fury rods from tackle warehouse. A 662 SF and a 663 SF. The look and feel exactly the same. I see and feel no noticeable difference between the two. I contacted Dobyns and they told me that the diameter is so close you really can't tell them apart. Can somebody confirm that to me so that I can have peace of mind.

Have you fished them ?

Not really a big difference in 1/2oz vs 5/8oz.   Try casting a half oz lure on each and see how they perform.    I have a heavy baitcasting fury and I like the rod a lot..especially at that price point.

I thought the same with my fury 702 and 703 when I first got them. I thought maybe one of the rods were mislabeled but after i fished them I could notice the difference
