Daiwa Cronos 7'6" F vs. XF Spinning...

Featured Replies

Anyone use either?  What is the rod Feider uses for hair jigs?  Looking to pair with a Luvias 3012H.  Thanks!

He has a signature Tatula Elite AGS rod for hair jigs

Model:

TAEL761MLMFS-AGS

The cronos equivilant would be :

Thank you!  I saw the Youtube video on him debuting the Cronos and he said the "super fast" tip and didn't know which model he was referring to.

I like the feel of the CN761MMLFS a lot.  Have a 3012H that I just paired on it when it arrived.  I also picked up the XF which has a little different butt section of the rod (back blank is a little thicker).  On the description, it says it is an XF-ST.  Does anyone know what that means?  Thank you!

I have the 76xf

St means stinger tip which is a thin flexible tip with sic top.  It helps not overpower light lures while giving you fast hooksets and a powerful backbone.

My 76mml is almost a medium (duh)  Fieder did use this rod for hairjigs before the sig series came out...he still probably uses it.

I love it personally.  Use it for nekos dropshots and hair jigs.  Super sensitive.  Only issue is lack of hook keeper.

I have both the F & XF. Have used both for Ned's, haifjigs, drop shot etc. I personally like the F version better.
