  1. Yep, would be fine. I throw beavers on 5/8 oz swing heads with mine. Can feel good bottom contact
  2. I have this rod & also have the Cronos 7'3 as well. Love the elite rod, very versatile. I use it mainly for swing head jigs with beavers. You will not regret it, very light
  3. Just bought a pair of the Stryker bibs, thanks for the heads up!!
  4. Yep, Bluebasser86's are all I ever use!! Top notch quality!
  5. Uuuggghh, bought 10 of the Megabass Orochis when they were on sale before Christmas!! Come on spring!!
  6. 6 spinning rods & 14-15 casting rods. The deck of my boat becomes really messy by day's end!
  7. I fish all jerkbaits on the Tatula Elite 6'9" Seth Feider rod. Great tip for jerkbaits!
  8. I do not have the E6X but I do have 3 Flat Side Specials. Very versatile rod, awesome for traps, squarebills & topwater!
  9. I have several 7'6" Daiwa Cronos spinning rods & 1 Tatula. Really like the Cronos Rods & can be had for around$120-130. I have a couple of Tat Elite casting rods & really like them as well. I use Cronos for Ned rigs, drop shot & hair jigs.
  10. Right now several sites have Megabass Orochi XX on sale for less than $200. EMTF for jigs & trailers up to 1/2oz. Over get the Perfect Pitch. Absolutely awesome Rods. I like mine better than Dobyns DX 784ML Orochis XX so much better than the Levante!!!
  11. Can you share where you found the Orochi XX for that price? Thanks
  12. I have both the F & XF. Have used both for Ned's, haifjigs, drop shot etc. I personally like the F version better.
  13. I have 3 of the Cronos Rods that are 7'6". Two of the F action and 1 XF. I find myself using the xf for hair jigs, launches them a mile. I use the F for Ned rigs& drop shot. Love these rods but no hook keeper is only downfall
  14. I broke a brand new Champion Extreme HP first time out by hitting my trolling motor. It will cost you $100 regardless of the reason for the HP. Turned a $350 rod into a $450 rod
  15. I have the Huk All Weather Suit. Only worn 3 times on boat in rain. I was at my sons lacrosse game 2 weeks ago & it was an absolute downpour & had suit on in driving rain. The only thing that was wet was my shoes, because they weren't waterproof. Also makes for a nice windbreaker in the spring & fall as it's pretty light. Money well spent in my opinion. Good quality in zippers & cuffs
  16. That 6' 10" ML rod seems to be very soft in the tip. I bought one for a drop shot rod, used it once & now it sits in my garage
  17. I have 8 Pro Qualifiers & replaced them late last year with 3 Lews LFS & 5 Daiwa Tatulas. After using the Tatulas, I would never go back to PQ. I have no complaints about the Lews either. The features on the Tatula are unreal & can cast baits much further, IMO
  18. American Leg Fishing has Tatula CT Type R's for $120, FYI
  19. I own both as well & hands down Tatula CT. Just my 2 cents
  20. I've had all brands, and it's Daiwa for me! Their lines from Tatula all the way up are incredible! Not saying I don't like the others, but if only one it's Daiwa!
  21. Bluebasser's swim jigs are second to none(IMHO)!!
  22. I have 5 infernos & I love them. The 734 is an awesome all around rod & the 705CB are my favorites!
  23. Lews BB2 Wide Spool. Had the Cardiff for a year, never even pick it up since I bought the Lews
  24. Exactly, very short supply & still $ 2.99
