Tatula Elite 7-3 MH
Yep, would be fine. I throw beavers on 5/8 oz swing heads with mine. Can feel good bottom contact

Tatula Elite 7-3 MH
I have this rod & also have the Cronos 7'3 as well. Love the elite rod, very versatile. I use it mainly for swing head jigs with beavers. You will not regret it, very light

Dedicated hard jerkbait rod
I fish all jerkbaits on the Tatula Elite 6'9" Seth Feider rod. Great tip for jerkbaits!
- G Loomis E6x or Flat Side Special for cranks

Daiwa Spinning Rods opinions
I have several 7'6" Daiwa Cronos spinning rods & 1 Tatula. Really like the Cronos Rods & can be had for around$120-130. I have a couple of Tat Elite casting rods & really like them as well. I use Cronos for Ned rigs, drop shot & hair jigs.

Daiwa Cronos 7'6" F vs. XF Spinning...
I have both the F & XF. Have used both for Ned's, haifjigs, drop shot etc. I personally like the F version better.
-
Tatula original vs. Cronos vs. Tatula Elite 7'6" spinning models
I have 3 of the Cronos Rods that are 7'6". Two of the F action and 1 XF. I find myself using the xf for hair jigs, launches them a mile. I use the F for Ned rigs& drop shot. Love these rods but no hook keeper is only downfall

Snapped My Dobyns Champion Extreme 703SF
I broke a brand new Champion Extreme HP first time out by hitting my trolling motor. It will cost you $100 regardless of the reason for the HP. Turned a $350 rod into a $450 rod

Huk Gear Bibs and jacket VS Basspro 100mph
I have the Huk All Weather Suit. Only worn 3 times on boat in rain. I was at my sons lacrosse game 2 weeks ago & it was an absolute downpour & had suit on in driving rain. The only thing that was wet was my shoes, because they weren't waterproof. Also makes for a nice windbreaker in the spring & fall as it's pretty light. Money well spent in my opinion. Good quality in zippers & cuffs
