Has anyone heard anything about a redesign of the Powerpro MaxQuatro? I have been using it all year and when I was talking to someone about it they said many people had issues with the current design and they were looking at a redesign.

this has become one of my favorite lines but wanted to know if this was true.

Researched it and couldn't find anything. Looking at TW reviews it seems there's a lot of bad experiences with it.

I've got some 20 on a spinning rod and 50 on a casting rod and like it. I prefer stiffer braids generally, and this suits me. It's very similar to normal power pro, but a bit thinner. Quite coarse and noisy, like normal power pro, but pretty much indestructible. 

I’ve got some 30# and 40#I️ got for free from TW. I’ve been using it for top water and even straight to jigs for a bit. I️ haven’t had any issues. 

I assume we are referring to Maxcuatro?
