Picked up a 1442 Jon Saturday

Featured Replies

Picked this up over the weekend. I seen it listed in the newspaper and thought I would go look at it. Wasn't expecting it to be much of a boat since it was only $250 and included the trailer.

When I got there, I also found out it had 2 trolling motors (36 bow mount, 42 transom), 3 deep cycle marine batteries, and it's a 1442 Jon. Just about right for what I want for the lakes right here around my house that are trolling motor only or 9.9hp limited.

Put the 9.9 on it this morning and took it out on the one lake and it did great. Not the best boat in the world, but for 250 bucks it was definatly worth it for me.

Now all I need for it is a decent depth/fish finder that isnt terribly exspansive for on it.

Here is 3 pics of it:

Nice boat for the price.  You need to talk to LBH, he can give you instructions on a killer paint job.

Man, that was a steal!

Holy Shizzzzit!  $250 for all that!  Nice find!  Can you say "JACKPOT"!

Enjoy and I hope you catch a couple hundred double digit bass from it!   ;)

he shoots....he scores.  You coul easily sell it for more than double what you paid fo it!

BPs has the Eagle 320 on sale for $129 now.  I know it will be hard to spend as much for your depth finder as you did the boat but why not.  Nice boat by the way.

WOW  ;):)

Deal of the day right there!!! That's awesome.  I really like the graduated step to the bow, never seen one done like that.

Good luck with her!

I got a GREAT deal on my Bass Tracker so I know the feeling of satisfaction you must have.  Congrats on scoring big!  If you ever want to sell her I'll double your money ;)
