Thanks.

Just wanted to say thanks to Bassresource and the members for just being here. Going through a lot with the man that introduced me to fishing, my dad. He's fighting a losing battle with lung cancer and it consumes me emotionally at times, especially having to take care of him lately. Even if it's just a few times a day that I have a chance to check in and see what's going on around here, it's still a getaway from what's going on in "real life". I usually don't vent about personal issues with anyone at all but you guys have been helping me through this tough time without even knowing it. I don't post much but I can tell this is truly a great group of people around here. I wish you all well and Happy Thanksgiving.

So sorry to hear about your Dad. Cherish every moment.

I lost my Mom to a stroke 2 years ago and it still hasn't

settled in...I'm spending more time with my 86 year old

Dad who's been rather lonely since then.

Have as happy a Thanksgiving as you can considering all

you/your Dad are going through.

Sorry to hear your Dad is having a hard time.

No doubt that's a tough road for him & you.

It's good that you can be there for him, especially now.

It's also good that the BR Forum membership can be here for you too.

Sending positive thoughts.

A-Jay

It's good that that you do have a place to vent and can. Cancer isn't easy for anyone stricken or close to some one who is. I hope it gets better for you & your family.

sounds like your dad has a son that he can be proud of.
