Y'all ever look at a bait thinking I know it's designed to be fished like this but I'll bet if you fished it like this it'll kill em.

I was looking at Stanley's Rabbit Frog which is killer when buzzed on top but it struck me what if I used it as a Jig Trailer or maybe Texas Rigged it. Those little legs sure do a lot of kicking & I wonder what it would look like while falling slowly towards the bottom

Yea 2 baits especially. The Longer Roboworm desigined for drop shooting. I use it on a spiing outfit, with a size 1 octupus hook that i knd of thread through the worm and reverse it t rig style IT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE FINESSE Baits on grassy shorelines in the summer. I got this by trial and error 8-)

I am sure others do similar with this: A brown/crawfish DT 6 by Rapala in shollow sandy/rock bottoms I let it scrape and stop til it floats through these area, They really wack em on the stop.

Or if you fished it on a crig.  ;)

But yes, I do it quite a bit.  I sit around thinking how to improve baits or develop new concepts.  I've come up with a few good ones and some really really bad ones.
