Not much out about it yet. It is a labeled as a 2018 zillion tw hd crazy cranker. Stay tuned to the project T videos on youtube for more info on it. Rumored to be a new ryoga coming out also for 2018.

I just finished selling almost all my Tat and Zillion variants. Right now at 10 Tatula SVs and 8 Zillion SVs, 1 SV103 for Flipping and 1 Zillion HLC more as a novelty.... been using a pair of the JDM Zillion SVs in 5.5:1 for cranking... ^^^ looks like I may have to try at least one of em. Lol

How do you like those Zillions for cranking?

LOVE THEM!!! Only downfall is if you got some wind behind you, you can easily cast the entire spool with a 6 or 8XD. I’m running 12lb Assassin on them. It is what it is tho. The reels are built like tanks.

Looking at the Daiwa SS SV 103 JDM on the TW website and man is it crazy light at 5.3 oz. With the right rod you could cast that thing all day. I'm surprised by the price. Thought it would be more in the $300 range.

I love my older Zillion Crazy Crankers. If this reel has a better form factor in my hand, I might have to pick one up.

Got word the tatula ct will be discontinued and replaced with another model. Also a limited tatula spinning reel will be out but not available from TW or big box stores. 2 new gear ratios for the Steez A will come out. A 5.x.1 and a 8.x.1

Whatever they replace the Tat CT with has big shoes to fill.

That’s crazy, hasn’t been around that long and it’s a hit!  Does that include the variants like the Type R and the SV?  Or only the base CT?

They did the same thing with the SV103. Still considered a really dumb move by a lot of people. We don’t run the company though. I’m unsure of the answer if it’s all variants or just the base model. Release should be around the classic.

Tatula SV should be the most popular reel, variant. Fuego can fit the budget reel niche...

how are the tatula and zillion hlcs? also anyone tried the arachnid, i love mine way better than the zillion tws for more than half the price, even though ti isn't as sturdy it has lifetime warranty.
