2018 Fishing Arsenal

Featured Replies

This is my lineup for 2018. I fish from the bank and all of this fits in a 3700 Plano case. The painted lures are ones I made myself. I had to customize the case a bit to fit it all.

Questions? What is your arsenal?

Nice toy collection! My arsenal is a living bio dome that evolves daily it seems like.

I can appreciate the minimalist approach, and trying to get there but failing miserably.  From shore or in a yak staying small is the way to go.  Not enough soft plastic there like bring on the classic worm ;)

ya i got a question, how do you fish that sponge?

It’s the ultimate topwater...it just only lasts a few casts. Actually it just keeps the swim jig tails straight. They are sandwiched in between with the paddles sticking out.

I keep a few few bags of soft plastics separately.

I got a room full of weapons in my arsenal and that seems to be the problem. Too much stuff = too many decisions. Been looking to trim things down and not buy as much this winter. Of course, that is not working very well as the bait monkey seems to make me his personal project. Where ever I go, there he is. Stalking me like some deranged ex-girlfriend that I owe money to who just happens to be a repo goon who was formerly an IRS agent. But anyway, good luck with your lures and just remember.....I started out just like you. With just a few lures, a kitchen table and a sponge. :D

Missing a plopped disappointed! Ha jk nice bank line up looks like you have it all covered.

I also fish from bank or kayak.  I have about sixteen 3600 boxes full plus crappie boxes and fly boxes.  I can only take a little out.  I go back and forth on how to put it together for fishing, whether to have a boat box kind of like what you have, or just take a small bag with a couple boxes for the techniques I want to try that day.  This is approaching an existential crisis.  I like your approach.  I know a guy who keeps one box in his truck with some cherry picked stuff in it.  Similar to your set up.  Thanks for posting this.
