I'm starting this post to see who's using what airbrush/s and hopefully you can upload a couple pics of your lures. My main 3 airbrushes are The Paasche Talon, The Badger Renegade Krome, and Badger Soltar 20/20.  Just not an Iwata fan. Nothing wrong with them just simply my personal preference is all.

I use an Iwata eclipse. I also have a paasche but I can’t remember the model.

I use an Iwata Revolution BR. I might get me the HP-C Plus which would help me when I'm doing bigger batches.

Iwata Eclipse HP-C is what I use. 

I just bought a cheapo airmaster g22 airbrush kit. Its my first airbrush and this weekend will be my first time giving it a whirl. No idea how well its going to work out.

Oh I know. Thats how I got the custom rod bug. The handle length being custom fit to my arm sold me. Now Ill be buying iwata airbrushes to paint crankbaits I never have time to use lol

Iwata eclipse hp-cs for workhorse and a hp-bcs for basecoating a lot of lures at a time. 

I started with createx, but now its auto air and mainly house of kolor for paint. I moved to an out building and added an exhaust fan (i also have a proper respirator mask i wear with all paints) so i can safely use the urethane paints. They just lay down and look so much better to me. 

i use a vaper airbrush (basically just a Chinese copy)

Iwata Eclipse HP-C , HP-C Plus.

Personally I’ll buy used good quality airbrushes and equipment  before I’ll buy new no name subpar equipment. With that being said the Wega’s, Master series, Point Zeros, etc.. will do most anything you want them to do for lure making. They may not be as smooth and easy to control but they will get the job done.

Well, you just don’t like Iwata?  What’s wrong with you?  I’ve airbrushed for about 20 years now.  After a long and winding road I’m using an Iwata Revolution BR for most stuff and a HP+ for detail.  There are plenty of good airbrush brands but to me, Iwata is the pinnacle of quality, performance, and repairability.  That last quality, availability of parts, is the difference between fixing an airbrush you break or having to throw it away and buy another.

Iwatas are fantastic and hard to beat. I own quite a few airbrushes (Iwata, Badger, RichPens, Grex, and Paasche) and each one serves a purpose. You need to figure out the style of gun you want/need before you should even look at the manufacturers. All that being said I’ll take my Grex Genisis XGi’s and XB’s for everyday use. I personally feel they have the best designed triggers out there and amazing when it comes to comfort. That’s my perosnal thoughts but an airbrush is like a fishing reel, it’s what fits you.
