My answer to clean routing of transducer cable on MK Fortrex....

Featured Replies

One of my only complaints on Minn Kota Fortrex trolling motors, is there is not access to route the transducer cable for a "clean" look.
Well, here is one good option.

What I like about this option is that it does not involve routing the cable up the trolling motor foot cable & across the trolling motor head unit, ( which looks messy to me) The bounce buster that comes with the Fortrex is a real plus in this way of routing, because wraping cable around it helps secure and route cable to the TM shaft in a very clean way!
One note, it did involve drilling a few holes in the trolling motor top mounting bracket, to secure the cable with zip ties, so there is no chance in the cables slipping down and getting pinched when stowing the trolling motor.

Nice ~ and timely too as I'm contemplating adding one myself.

Can you post a pic of the rig from the top of the TM shaft down to the transducer itself ?

I'd certainly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance
