I have been reading about California  Swim baits.  After 2 years of looking at them I bought a 3:16 Mission Fish and Rising Son.  I like the Mickey Ellis story and Christian message.  Unconventional.   Gonna see how these Central MS fish like them.  Gotta love the 8/0 Owner Beast hooks.  Anyone on here use the 3:16 swimbaits?

Great, proven baits. 

I use the WRS and they have a great action. You can fish them really slow. Only thing I don't like is they kind of spiral chaotically when sinking instead of nosing towards the bottom. 

3:16 baits produce, I like the Rising Son, hard Bluegill and Wake Jr.   That said the hard baits are difficult to obtain and pricey so their are number of them that I have yet to try.

3:16 Mission Fish doesn't require a giant size hook, fish it a big worm weedless and they come in a wide range of sizes.

I was looking for one a few months back before I ended up with keitech 7.8" and Zman Mag swimZ 8". Let me know how it work for ya, I might pick up some as everyday lure instead of Huddleston.
