Will elaztec react with a chatterbaits skirt or other silicone skirt?

    The Original Chatterbaits that I bought came with Elaztech Split Tail trailers, so I agree with JustJames.  The Elaztec stuff does react a bit with regular rubber.

    No it will not. I set a few different skirts with old baits laid across them for over a month and nothing ever happened.
