Fishing Downtown Boston

Featured Replies

I will be in Boston for a week and hopefully will have time to fish. Anyone know good spots downtown (parks, rivers). I can’t travel far because I will not have a car. Thanks!!

Don't know about the fishing but I hear good chowdah is easy to find.

We're just having fun with the new guy.  Welcome and any opportunity to get back is encouraged.  Seriously, I googled "fishing downtown Boston" and came up with several choices.  Best of luck.  Watched a video from another post that showcased Mike Iaconelli fishing Central Park in NYC. Fish don't know where they are.

There is good access to the Charles river at the esplanade. Google it for directions and you will see that its easy to walk to and you can hook into multiple species there. If your a little west of downtown, Crystal Lake in Newton or the Brookline Reservoir are easy to fish as well, but you would need a short Uber ride to get there. Good luck.
