I have a abu Garcia black max on a uglystick gx2 rod and I over tightend the seat and now the reel is completely stuck onto the rod and I cannot twist the seat loose

Step 1. Join a gym step 2. Get stronger , lots of curls and wrist movement. Step 3. Start with small jars that needed opening and step 4. Twist the seat loose with your new found strength haha ?

A small strap wrench, or channel locks with a rubber sleeve of some kind (old bike inner tubes or scrap of vinyl) work well. A little wax or silicone lube will keep it from sticking.

Well, the ususal “stick it in the freezer” is out, unless you have access to a walkin.  

My other hobby is billiards. My pool partner always has me break his cue down for him.

Hold an keyboard duster upside down and spray the reel foot to cool it down

5. Lay off self pleasuring for 30 days. 

Please be careful if you use pliers on the reel seat nut.  They are usually plastic made in China.

If it's like mine it probably has some kind of gunk dried in the threads. 

Maybe try to spray some WD-40 to loosen it up?

wrap it with a rubber band, twist it off.
