COuldnt tell completely. But maybe 3-4 but I would still say 3 bc of how skinny

It's difficult for me to guess weights on largies. I target smallmouth and only catch largemouth when on shore and have nothing else to do or one decides it doesn't want to be controlled by species stereotypes ?

Don't guess weights, buy a scale and weigh 'em  

Or just measure it on a bump board and tell people its length instead.

Closer to 3 than 2.  Nothing to not be proud of though.  A 3ish pound bass is a decent catch most places.

close enough to call 4. The angles of the photographs make that fish seem smaller than it is, or 12....

I'd call it a 4. By the end of the year, you can say it was a 5. Next spring, it would be perfectly acceptable to call it a 6. Don't go any higher than that though. Having a fish grow more than 50% is a serious breach of etiquette.

There are other length to weight calculators that consider girth and they are better. But, this TPWD conversion chart is what I use.

 

If the bass is really beefy, you'd add some weight; if it is skinny, subtract a bit.

I would say 3lbs maybe a little less. This one I caught this past Tuesday only weighed 3lbs 6oz and the mouth and head are a bit bigger than the one in your pics. I didn't get a length on it, I actually guesstimated that, but it was every bit 20" or so. I used a scale. I recommend like @Darren. said and buy you a scale. When I finally catch my new PB I want to know what it weighed not a guesstimation of what it weighed. Still a nice bass you caught and nothing to be ashamed of. ?

I'm also in the roughly 3# camp, perhaps 2.75 - 3.75 lbs.

 

Please note that for your area, that might be considered a decent bass. It's not you live in Texas, Florida or Georgia. In my neck of the woods, that's a good size bass.

 

Definitely get a scale because our eyes always think we've caught something heavier, lol.
