Good time for you, sir. Ive been having a good time with my wanna be finesse fishing for those tiny bass too. Got them on small popper and small rapala floating minnow. 

I’m glad for you guys, topwater bite has been non existent here.

Top water has been very unproductive for me this year also. Have had a few bites lately on a frog, but all smaller fish. Even on days when top water should be the go to pattern, cloudy, rainy, etc., just can't seem to get a good top water day.

Nice fish @lonnie g! Gotta love it when you’re on a good topwater bite and smashing a popper!

Good going! I've had pretty good luck right before sunrise using a spook and a pop-r.  As soon as the sun comes up over the trees the bite dies off.
