Of those three I'd buy the Stratos.  If I decided to go alum.  I'd look for something besides a Tracker.

i had the same dilemma a fews years back,i had an aluminum grumman bass something or other and the deck was getting soft so i was was looking for a boat with no wood..turned out the nitro i bought was lower priced then most aluminum boats with no wood that were available in my area without traveling 200 miles...and the heavier fiberglass doesn't get blown around in the wind as much...

it depends on where you plan on fishing. A friend of mine has a fiberglass and he had to patch it more than once from fishing shallow area and hitting rocks.

Welcome to BR - the BEST bass fishing forum on the Net!! As you can see there are many great members who will render their venerable opinions on just about any question you care to ask. IF I were to have your dilemma, I'd opt for an aluminum boat. Lightweight for towing and less prone to damage from shallow water obstacles where I normally like to fish. My boss also said he had an aluminum Tracker that he gave his son when he got his fiberglass Skeeter and he liked the aluminum boat because he could beach it almost anywhere without having to worry about scratching it all up or damaging it.

I'm torn between a tracker 175 and going to a fiberglass nitro or stratos. A little help?

As for your boat choice, I have the 175 Pro Team and love it. It is the perfect boat for RI waters. I like it because I can fish rocky or shallow waters like Stafford, Watchaug, and all the other places with nasty boat ramps.
