Well it's black Friday morning and I slept in till 7:30 ...checked my blood surgars and they are normal.  Shocked as I was a "pig" kinda as far as carbs.  Anyway...I don't have to go shopping...we have company so we're hitting the golf coarse and then tomorrow I get to hit the lake in the afternoon.  Wow...I am blessed to be sure.  Had a house full so was hectic...found out neighbor was home by himself so got lucky and he came over too.  Love Thanksgiving....now Christmas is a bit more hectic....not as fun.  Love the reason for the Season but believe it has changed just a bit!!!

We had a nice thanksgiving too with my immediate family.

Its not the same anymore though as I have almost as many people up there now as I do down here. Just a lot of missing places at the table now.?

Thankful for another reunion we'll have someday though.

I hear ya. My son is on the bottom of the totem pole at the police department where he works and my daughter had to be out of state. They can make it home Tuesday, so we're having our Thanksgiving then.

Understand....it's life....we have to ask the good Lord once in awhile to give our daughter a little squeeze.

Wow. Cant say I know what it's like to lose a child , but I ask the Lord to hug my parents for me sometimes...
