I tried out a Hudd (8" ROF5) for the first time last week and ended up getting it stuck on a submerged tree stump.

 

Got it released and noticed it was damaged.

 

In the photos you can see that a chunk of plastic is missing and the jig hook harness frame is visible.

Can this Hudd be repaired with the void filled up with Mend It?

 

I notice that at a crawl it leans to its right.  

Not sure if that is due to the damage.

With that said though, I am a believer in this lure and have two back-ups.

Little dab of Mend it should fix it right up. 

Heat works well. Alot of swimbait guys keep a soldering torch for quick repairs. Ive had days with baits in rotation curing with mendit. I like the torch waay better and it sets up much quicker. But still use both. Mend it is much more forgiving.

Glad you got it back. I don’t know about filling voids but mend it works awesome. They say you should store it in your fridge though because it goes bad unless kept cold. 

 

Maybe be if you need to fill a void you could use a chunk of another soft plastic of the same color and meld them together.
