Help identifying tube jig

Featured Replies

In the link below at the 2:50 mark I would like to know where to get the jig head shown. The guard wire comes out from the very end of the head of the jig. I can't find that particular jig, any help appreciated.

Oldham makes something similar.

Just went to Oldhanm jigs website and did not see any but will look a little more carefully on their site a bit later. Thank you for the reply.

@Glenn  Any chance you remember which jigheads you were using in this video?

Thanks!

That isn't the tube jig he is asking about. The 300S uses a flat eye hook and doesn't have a weed guard, the jig in the video has a wire guard coming out of the top and a regular vertical eye hook. So the OP wants to know what weedless jig did you use in the video, not the Bite me jig that you linked.

Thank you Small, I will keep watching for Glenn to answer.

Here are a couple of stills that show the jig.

My concerns are that the line goes between the 2 wires and could rub.

also it looks as if the way the line tie exits the tube it would create a place for weeds to collect.

Looks similar to the Oldham weedless tube jigs; but that hook reminds me of a Venom Tube Jig customized with a wire guard

It actually is the Bite Me jig, but without the weedguard.  Same exact thing, just without the weedguard. You're looking for the Bite Me Jig w/weedguard.  That's what's in the video.

The wires don't touch the line tie, hence there's no interference.  Never had any problems with line breaking with this jig.  Weeds do not collect on this jig, other than what you would normally see with a traditional Texas-rigged bait.

I see it's no longer available on Amazon.  I bought them AT a Bass Pro Shops - in the store, not online.  They're not available online, so stop looking for them online.  You need to go into a BPS.

There is an easier way, and most likely cheaper, way to rig the tube weedless.
