Just ordered a shimano chronarch mgl and a shimano expride medium heavy, fast action rod. I've got a few things in mind but would like to hear how others would put this setup to work?  

What would you do with this setup?

I would use it as a 3/8-1/2 oz jig rod.

Jigs, spinnerbaits, jerkbaits.............

I got this same exact setup over the course of this winter and I will be using it primarily for jigs. Can't wait to test it out once/if the Midwest decides to thaw out!

MH always a good multipurpose rod.  If it was in my arsenal, I would probably say the same as others.  Jig and worm rod and stay in the middle of the weight range. 

That'll cover around 90% of bass fishing.
