New rig for the river bronzebacks

59608a5ec6926_WildManWillie.jpg.ced309aad38aac50aebfbb70910b473f.jpgSo after fishing the local river the past 10 years, and now having two boys 3 and 5 and taking them as much as possible.  Well my oldest fell in love when he was 2.5.  and has become quite the little Fisher, but to help with hook ups I wanted to use an exposed hook, so started using the z man power shroomz for them and man they worked great but we seemed to lose a lot, several seemed to break and also didn't seem to hold fish well,  and at$2 a pop I needed a cheaper alternative so I designed my own and they work great

Thanks guys can't wait to get him back on that river. Waters a little high at the time but we're going to hit up a pond in the morning

Going to try a few new colors this week any suggestions, brown is coming as well as red(which would be for inshore fishing) and chartreuse.  Thought about a burnt orange but indecisive

Simple jig head I designed to use in the river. Has turned out great now, Have one more size to machine should be in the 1/8-1/9oz range
